Vision & Mission
The mission of the CRO's Nest is to provide friendship, support, employment, recreation and transportation for adults who are former or current consumers of mental health services and who have a severe and persistent mental illness. The second mission is to increase understanding of mental illness through public awareness. These services will assist the consumers to achieve greater independence and move toward recovery. Members of the CRO's Nest value friendship, support, experience and the knowledge that individuals with mental illness can help each other in this process.

Primary Programs and Activities

• Leadership Opportunities including planning and running activities, board of directors and committee positions, participation in statewide workshops and retreats
• Educational Library and programs
• Training including computer, cooking, and sewing classes
• Social Drop-in Center
• Public Education about Mental Illness and Recovery
• Consumer Run Research Activities including conducting surveys of consumer satisfaction with mental health services
