Vision
& Mission
To provide a safe and enjoyable CRO for the mentally
ill in Sumner County. To help members become independent with social opportunities
and peer support. To have guest speakers at the club, and to do presentations
in the County which will help educate the public about mental illness.
To provide transportation so we can have more participation in club activities.
Primary
Programs and Activities
Presentations at the First Baptist, Church of the
Nazarene, and Joy Fellowship, all in Wellington. We have a warm line with
four members taking peer-counseling classes. We completed a membership
satisfaction survey. We have shopping trips, bowling, bingo, cookouts,
and had a cookout at Afton Lake with the Reno County Angels, Inc. We watched
fireworks on July 4, 2003, and we also went to the State Fair.
